How to Display list of posts within given category and user membership level at sidebar

Good day and good news! lets see what is  “WordPress Wishlist Member Category Post widget” ?

You no longer need to create links to posts and add them to your sidebar manually . This Multi widget let you to select a category and display links from that category to related posts within current membership level into your sidebar. Here is a example.

It is easy to create  links to posts from a category  and display it at sidebar.  but when you have different membership levels. you would like to display only links  to posts that are belong to current membership level. Think of  when each membership level have several steps. for example:

1) level1: learning php basic ( for silver membership level only

part1

part2

part3

2)level2: lerning php advanced ( need gold memebrship )

part4

part5

Think of  level 1  have some sublevel  for example

let say you have 3 membership level on your wordpress blog

  1. Silver members  ( can see silver content only)
  2. Gold members. ( can see all content  included silver memberships)
  3. Trial members. (can see limited content only for limited time. let say 7 days. after that they should  upgrade to Silver or Gold membership.

Problem:

I do not want to diplay part4 link and part 5 link to silver member. but gold member should see all  links to all steps. also Trial member should see link to part1 only!

Solution:

  1. Get  wishlistmember-category-posts-widget ( Ask WLM support to give you a copy!)
  2. Create  a category with name “parts”.
  3. Add this category to all above posts.
  4. Add widget to your sidebar.
  5. select category parts inside widget
  6. Thats all! after this only member belong to that level can see that links!

Remember you can have more than one instant of this plugin and apply each of them to diffrent categories such as  pdf, sourcecode, video and more!

Well, everything is possible in a good day.
have a good day!
